UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) entrance exam, now known as AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University) entrance exam, is conducted for admission to various engineering, pharmacy, and management programs in colleges across Uttar Pradesh. The UPTU 2025 exam is expected to be conducted in April-May 2025 for admission to B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Arch, and other undergraduate programs.
UPTU registration for 2025 is expected to start from January 2025 and continue till March 2025. The application fee for UPTU 2025 is expected to be INR 1,300 for General/OBC candidates and INR 650 for SC/ST candidates. The exam will be conducted in online (computer-based) mode across various cities in Uttar Pradesh and other states.
UPTU is one of the largest technical universities in India, with more than 800 affiliated colleges offering various technical and professional programs. The UPTU admit card will be available for download from April 2025. Candidates are advised to start their preparation early, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects from Class 11 and 12 syllabus.

Note: For B.Arch program, candidates must have Mathematics with 50% marks in 10+2 and valid NATA score. For B.Pharma, candidates must have Physics and Chemistry with Mathematics/Biology.

UPTU Syllabus
UPTU syllabus is based on Class 11 and 12 NCERT curriculum and includes the following subjects:

UPTU Exam Pattern
The UPTU question paper consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The exam duration is 3 hours with no sectional time limit.
